I had the same concerns anyone would have in trying to find a place for their spouse -- as my wife was facing an uncertain recovery from cancer. When I found John and Candis, I wept with relief.

They weren’t just care givers -- they knew what her favorite movies were, what her favorite meals were, and when her favorite news program was on.

They nurtured her every step of the way.

Because John and Candis adopted us into their family I didn’t have to resort to leaving my wife alone in a facility. I will never forget the love and personal attention they gave us.

And, I better not forget to mention that they fixed my wife’s favorite breakfast, German pancakes, whenever she wanted!

Candis, John and their family do make a positive difference in the world of care giving.

They spent over three years caring for and extending their love to my dear friend, Louise.

They supported her heart-related medical conditions, dementia and loss of appetite.

The fact that Louise was able to live in their personal home rather than a nursing facility was also a blessing.

She did not feel “lost” in a large complex
or wonder when someone would be there for her when she was in need of assistance.
